1. Eligibility

The BEACN Fixmas Giveaway (“Giveaway”) is open to legal residents of:

  • North America (excluding Québec)
  • The United Kingdom
  • The European Union

Participants must be 18 years of age or older at the time of entry.

Employees of Beacon Hill Innovations LTD (“BEACN”), its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotional agencies, and immediate family members of such employees are not eligible to enter.

This Giveaway is void where prohibited by law.

2. Giveaway Period

The Giveaway begins December 12, 2024 at 9:00 AM Pacific Time and ends December 23, 2024 at 11:59 PM Pacific Time (“Giveaway Period”).

The winner will be selected and announced within two (2) weeks of the Giveaway closing, no later than early January 2025.

3. How to Enter

To enter, participants must:

  1. Create a short video showcasing the participant’s current microphone and/or audio issues. Videos may be edited.
  2. Post the submission on X (Twitter), Instagram, or TikTok.
  3. Tag @BEACN in the post.
  4. Follow BEACN on the platform the submission is posted.
  5. Include any hashtags or instructions specified in the official Giveaway announcement post.
  6. Ensure their account is public at the time of entry.

Entries from private accounts are not eligible.

No purchase is necessary to enter or win.

Limit: one entry per person. Additional entries may be disqualified.

4. Winner Selection

This is a skill-based contest.

The BEACN Marketing Team will review all eligible entries. The winner will be selected based on the following criteria:

  • Creativity
  • Relatability
  • Holiday spirit

The judging panel’s decisions are final.

5. Prize

One (1) winner will receive a Full BEACN Setup, consisting of:

  • BEACN Mic Stand (approx. retail value: $129.99 USD)
  • BEACN Mix Create (approx. retail value: $229.00 USD)
  • Winner’s choice of ONE of the following:
    • BEACN Mic (approx. retail value: $349.99 USD), OR
    • BEACN Studio (approx. retail value: $259.00 USD)

Prize Notes:

  • Product colours will be chosen by BEACN based on availability.
  • Prize items may include BEACN refurbished units meeting BEACN’s quality standards.
  • The prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.

Total maximum prize value: approx. $708.98 USD.

6. Shipping & Duties

BEACN will cover shipping costs to eligible regions (North America excluding Québec, EU, and UK).

Winners may be responsible for any applicable duties, VAT, import taxes, or customs fees depending on their location.

BEACN cannot ship prizes outside the eligible regions.

7. Use of Entries

By entering, participants grant BEACN a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free, transferable license to:

  • Repost
  • Reuse
  • Modify
  • Publish
  • Display
  • Share
  • And otherwise use the submitted video and accompanying content

for marketing, advertising, social media, promotional, or commercial purposes in any format or platform, without further compensation.

Participants must ensure their submission does not infringe on third-party rights.

8. Winner Notification

The selected winner will be contacted via direct message on the platform used for entry.

The winner must respond within five (5) days of being contacted.
If the winner does not respond within that timeframe:

  • The winner will be disqualified
  • A new winner will be selected using the same judging criteria

Once confirmed, BEACN will announce the winner on its social platforms.

9. General Conditions

BEACN reserves the right to disqualify entries that:

  • Violate contest rules
  • Contain harmful, offensive, infringing, or inappropriate content
  • Appear spammed, automated, or generated by AI tools

BEACN is not responsible for:

  • Late, lost, or misdirected entries
  • Platform outages or technical issues
  • Incorrect tagging or failure to follow contest instructions

BEACN may modify, suspend, or cancel the Giveaway if necessary due to fraud, technical failures, or factors beyond its control.

10. Release

By participating, entrants release BEACN, its employees, partners, and affiliates from any liability related to participation, prize acceptance, or use of the submitted content.

11. Platform Disclaimers

This Giveaway is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with:

  • X (Twitter)
  • Instagram
  • TikTok

Entrants agree that these platforms are released from liability.

12. Privacy

Personal information collected for this Giveaway (e.g., usernames, shipping information) will be used solely for administering the Giveaway and fulfilling the prize.
