Yes — it’s optimized for multi-PC and complex routing scenarios. We have a ton of people using it for this, though you will still need to make sure to follow our guide for 2 PC setups using BEACN Mix Create as there are a few things to consider. For full control over a 2 PC setup, you might want to consider BEACN Studio (we even put together this article explaining how it works!).

That's a tough one to answer! If you're just starting out, we generally recommend BEACN Mic and BEACN Mic Stand, as they work perfectly together as a relatively plug-and-play solution via USB, plus you can unlock the Advanced Mixing Suite within BEACN App to get a sense for how to better control your stream audio.

If you're wanting full control at your fingertips with drag and drop usability, we recommend stepping up your game and grabbing BEACN Mix Create.

Finally, if you already have a preferred XLR microphone and want the full power of BEACN's processing to use with it, you'll want to grab BEACN Studio. It also unlocks a powerful dual PC audio approach that is the first of its kind!

The short answer is yes, especially when you combine BEACN Studio with BEACN Mix Create.

The long answer is a bit more nuanced. GoXLR has some features that we don't, such as sampling and voice effects so if you absolutely need those features then you'll need to find a workaround using tools like VoiceMod.

However, BEACN Studio offers a ton of other features that GoXLR doesn't provide. It has a 2 PC audio routing setup that gets rid of 3.5mm cables and ground loop isolators. All you need to do is plug 1 USB cable into your host PC, and the other USB cable into your secondary PC. You're ready to go from there! Plus, we offer submixes, multiple mute modes, drag and drop simplicity with an easy to view screen, infinity scroll knobs, and more!
